Ici on a donc :

[tex](x - 5) {}^{2} - 25[/tex]

[tex] = (x - 5) {}^{2} - 5 {}^{2} [/tex]

[tex] = (x - 5 + 5)(x - 5 - 5)[/tex]

[tex] = x(x - 10)[/tex]

En développement l'expression, on obtient ainsi :

[tex] = x \times x - 10 \times x[/tex]

[tex] = {x}^{2} - 10x[/tex]

Conclusion : x² - 10x = (x - 5)² - 25
