    présent simple

    forme affirmative  : she knows    (3e personne, ne pas oublier le "s")

                                     they walk

    forme négative : on utilise l'auxiliaire "do"

                                 we don't want     (we do not want

                                  he doesn't speak    (he does not speak)

                         (le "s" de la 3e personne va sur l'auxiliaire)

    1. Christelle Korsa is very social. She knows lots of people.

            Christelle est très sociable. Elle connaît beaucoup de gens.

    2. We've got plenty of chairs, thanks we don't want more.

               nous avons beaucoup de chaises, merci nous n'en voulons pas d'autres

    3. My friend is finding life in Paris a bit difficult. He doesn't speak  french.

                 mon ami trouve la vie à Paris un peu difficile

                          il ne parle pas français

    4. Most students live quite close to the college, so they walk there

            la plupart des étudiants habitent assez près du collège,

                  aussi ils y vont à pied
